Description
Falmouth, the main resort of the South Cornish Riviera, has won popularity with its visitors that extends throughout the year. It boasts one of the highest average sunshine records in Britain, hence the gardens have a profusion of sub-tropical plants. Falmouth has a marvellous harbour for a range of boats from yachts to large ocean going ships, overlooked by Pendennis Castle, one of Henry VIII's forts. Falmouth's historic past is commemorated in its National Maritime Museum, a world class attraction offering unique interactive displays. There are several sandy beaches which are excellent for bathing, the largest is Gyllyngvase which has gorgeous golden sands. Along the main high street there are quaint old shops standing beside famous stores, and as you walk along you will catch glimpses of the colourful harbour through the picturesque alleyways.
Itinerary
TOUR OPERATES SATURDAY TO SATURDAY
EXCURSIONS INCLUDED
Full Day Excursion to St Ives,
famous as an artist's paradise with its picturesque harbour and beach. The narrow winding streets mean the coach is unable to take us into the heart of the town, but a regular and inexpensive shuttle service runs the short distance from the coach park into the centre of this delightful town.

Full Day Excursion to the Lizard and Cornwall
visiting Gweek, Mullion and Penzance, which overlooks St Michael's Mount and is the base for the ferry to the Scilly Isles. We then travel on to one of England's most famous tourist attractions, Land's End (admission not included).

Full Day Excursion to Padstow
We travel north to Padstow, an attractive village in the beautiful Camel Estuary noted as a sailing dinghy centre and the capital of Cornish seafood cuisine.

Half Day Excursion to Truro,
the administrative town of the area. A chance to visit the shops or perhaps to have a look around the neo-Gothic cathedral.
