Itinerary

DAY 1 Departure: A morning departure to Dover for our ferry crossing to Calais.We continue to arrive in Paris early evening.

DAYS 2-3 At leisure with four optional* excursions: With a full range of optional excursions available to you, this is an opportunity to really experience the magic of this beautiful city.

Optional* tour of Paris & optional* Seine cruise: Tour Paris taking in the famous sights; Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Louvre, Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysées. Join an optional Seine River cruise on the famous Bateaux Parisiens. After this, visit the Opéra district with free time to explore the shops.

Optional* excursion Paris by night & the Latin Quarter: Explore the area and choose from hundreds of intimate little bistros on the Left Bank, or join us in a French restaurant for an optional* evening meal with drinks and entertainment included. We return on our coach passing some of the major sights of the city, illuminated after dark.

Optional* excursion – Versailles: Follow the River Seine to beautiful Versailles. With time at leisure you could visit the 250 acres of classical gardens or, tour the main parts of the famous Chateau including the Hall of Mirrors and State Apartments. Full details from your courier (entrance not included).

Optional* excursion – Montmartre tour: This evenings excursion visits the Pigalle district home to the Moulin Rouge where colourful and exotic shows are held every night. You have time to take the funicular railway to Montmartre and the Sacré-Coeur and time is given to visit the basilica or maybe have your portrait sketched in the Place du Tertre.

LAST DAY Travel home: We depart for Calais and our ferry crossing to Dover, arriving home during the evening.

This hotel, in the north-east of Paris is opposite the Canal de l'Ourcq and close to the Cite des Sciences. The 284 en suite bedrooms have satellite TV and a hairdryer.
