Itinerary

DAY 1 Departure: A morning departure stopping in historic Newark for lunch and sightseeing en route to our hotel.

DAYS 2-3 At leisure in Harrogate with one included excursion. Yorkshire Dales National Park: Join us to see the splendid and glorious scenery of the National Park.We travel via Settle and Horton in Ribblesdale to Hawes in Wensleydale, stopping en route at the Wensleydale Creamery. After free time to visit the museum (not included) and the coffee shop our journey continues to Wharfedale before returning to the hotel. Easter Sunday includes a 3 course Easter Sunday Lunch at the hotel, the rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure in Harrogate. Take a walk and utilise the leisure facilities at the nearby Academy which offers free entry to hotel guests, or simply explore Harrogate, a large and popular tourist destination with its spa waters, and the RHS Harlow Carr Gardens offering just some of the popular visitor attractions (entry not included). Harrogate is situated along the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and is well known for its parks and gardens, including the main park which is situated in Valley Gardens.

LAST DAY Travel home: We depart for home stopping en route for lunch and sightseeing in Stamford, arriving home during the evening.

Holiday Inn, Harrogate

This modern style hotel is located in the centre of this famous spa town. It offers a lift to all floors and all 214 en suite bedrooms offer modern facilities including satellite TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities and many also offer great views over the spa town as well as the surrounding countryside. There is a contemporary bar and large restaurant on the first floor. Porterage is provided and all single rooms booked are double for sole use.
