Itinerary
DAY 1 Departure: We depart in the morning stopping en route, in Stratford-upon-Avon, home of Shakespeare. Browse amongst the delightful shops and cafes, before continuing our journey onwards, arriving in the late afternoon.
DAY 2 Severn Valley Railway excursion: Today, after a leisurely breakfast, we travel to the Severn Valley Railway, which will be transformed back in time to the World War 2 era, with vintage vehicles and actors. Don’t miss the big band shows, military vehicle demonstrations and even 1940s hairdressing demonstrations! Don’t forget to listen out for the wartime aircraft overhead as they make their flypasts. After this nostalgic day out, we return to our hotel for the evening.
LAST DAY Travel home: After a full breakfast, we depart for home with a scenic drive through the beautiful Cotswolds. We stop for time for lunch en route and arrive home during the evening.
