Itinerary
DAY 1 Departure: After a morning departure, we travel to our resort, with a stop en route for lunch and refreshments, arriving in the early evening.
DAYS 2-3 At leisure with two included excursions. Bude: Heading into Cornwall we soon reach Bude, a small resort with extensive beaches, which has become a favourite surfing centre. Enjoying the spectacular Cornish coastlines we head for tiny Boscastle, the cosy port, which has now fully recovered from its disastrous flood. A narrow ravine leads down to the village, where cottages and small-scale shops line the riverfront.
Barnstaple: After breakfast we depart for Barnstaple travelling along the estuary of the River Taw, famous for its Pannier Market and local Devon specialities, before heading back to the hotel for our Easter lunch.
LAST DAY Travel home: We depart for home, stopping en route for lunch, arriving home during the evening.
