The English Riviera, with its mile after mile of beautiful coastline, cliffs, coves and beaches to explore and enjoy has been one of the UK’s top holiday destinations since Victorian times.

HIGHLIGHTS

Itinerary

DAY 1 Departure: A morning departure, stopping for lunch en route to Torquay. Torquay is a vibrant resort and the waterfront is the focus of life in the town with a palm-lined promenade, a lively harbour and an international marina.

DAYS 2-6 At leisure with one optional* and two included excursions.

Devon Coast, Brixham & Dartmouth: Touring the Devon coast, visiting the old picturesque ports of Brixham and Dartmouth before returning to Torquay via Paignton.

Plymouth: This vibrant regional capital of Devon and Cornwall is a thriving modern city and a historic seafaring port.

Optional* excursion - Dartmoor: Experience the evocative atmosphere of Dartmoor, with visits to Princetown, the highest village on Dartmoor and Widecombein- the-Moor, set in the beautiful Widecombe Valley. In the village you can see the 16th century Church House and the adjoining Sexton’s Cottage.

LAST DAY Travel home: We depart for home, arriving during the evening.

Lincombe Hall Hotel, Torquay

This hotel offers live evening entertainment and leisure facilities including an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The 44 en suite bedrooms feature TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. There is no lift and are a few steps throughout the hotel but a few ground floor rooms are available upon request and porterage is provided.
