2012 Parisian Adventures
Five days in Paris will give you enough time to really explore this amazing city. There are so many things to see and do – experience the culture, the gastronomic delights and of course the romance.
Itinerary
DAY 1 Departure: A morning departure to Dover for our ferry crossing to Calais.We continue through Northern France to arrive in Paris early evening.
DAYS 2-4 At leisure with three optional* and one included excursions. We offer a range of included and optional excursions giving you the opportunity to really experience the magic of this beautiful city.
Tour of Paris with optional* Seine cruise: Enjoy the tour of Paris taking in the famous sights; the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysées, the Opéra and much more. There will be the opportunity to take an optional Seine River cruise on the famous Bateaux Parisiens. Our coach will then take you to the Opéra area of the city, close to the premier Parisian store Galeries Lafayette, with free time to explore the shops before returning to the hotel.
Optional* – Paris by night & the Latin Quarter: Experience Paris by Night & the Latin Quarter on the Rive Gauche (Left Bank). Choose from hundreds of intimate little bistros ranging from traditional French to Oriental or join us in a French restaurant for an optional* evening meal with drinks and entertainment. We return on our coach past some of the majorsights of the city
Optional* – Fontainebleau: The town of Fontainebleau has an outstanding historical heritage, charming squares and a lavish theatre. The area is admired for its scenic Forest and historical Château de Fontainebleau, a beloved weekend getaway for Parisians. The stunning Chateau which boasts over 1,530 rooms, offers a fabulous journey through centuries of French history. You have time at leisure to wonder through Fontainebleau’s pedestrianised streets and explore the many restaurants, cafes and boutiques.
Optional* – Evening Montmartre tour: Visit Montmartre, the artists square and Pigalle.We drive into the city and the Pigalle district. Here you can see the famous Moulin Rouge where colourful and exotic shows are held every night. From Pigalle you will have ample time to take the funicular railway up to Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur, the highest part of the city with a wonderful panoramic view. Time is given to visit the basilica or maybe have your portrait sketched in the Place du Tertre, the artists square, or take a drink and soak up the atmosphere of the area.
LAST DAY Travel home: We depart for Calais and our ferry crossing to Dover, arriving home during the evening.

This hotel is located in the north-east of Paris, opposite the Canal de l’Ourcq and close to the Cite des Sciences. The 284 en suite bedrooms have satellite TV and a hairdryer.
