Falmouth truly is the “spirit of the sea” with its fascinating maritime heritage dating back to the 16th century and famous golden sand beaches nestled around Falmouth Bay.

Itinerary

DAY 1 Departure: A morning departure stopping for lunch and refreshments en-route to our resort hotel.

DAYS 2-6 At leisure in Falmouth with two included excursions: Falmouth boasts a rich and celebrated maritime history and tradition earning its reputation as ‘the spirit of the sea’. The working harbour has flourished for over 400 years and today remains the third deepest in the world and deepest in Western Europe.

Marazion, Land’s End & St Ives: Today we begin at Marazion, set on the shores of Mount’s Bay one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Experience stunning views of the Lizard Peninsula and Land’s End, which will be our next visit of the day where we find the Land’s End Centre, a tourist complex featuring the history and heritage of Cornwall and Land’s End. We travel onto St Ives, widely regarded as one of the most picturesque towns in the land.

Mevagissey, Polperro & Looe: Visiting the south coast of Cornwall, firstly to Mevagissey, a picturesque fishing village with narrow alleyways and quaint slate houses.We then travel to the enchanting village of Polperro, sheltered in a cliff ravine. Finally we head to Looe, which boasts among other things a stunning fishing harbour.

Optional* excursion – Eden Project: Whilst in the area why not join our optional excursion to visit the famous Eden project.

LAST DAY Travel Home: We depart for home, arriving during the evening.
