Itinerary
DAY 1 Departure: A morning departure, stopping for lunch and refreshments en-route to our weekend hotel.
DAYS 2-3 At leisure with two included excursions. The Eden Project & Charlestown: We visit the Eden Project, a global garden, a place of beauty and wonder which explores humankind's dependence on natural resources Here you will find crops, landscapes and wild plants which reflect the amazing diversity of our planet. The humid Tropics Biome – the world's largest greenhouse - is home to the plants of the rainforest. The warm Temperate Biome is filled with the plants of the Mediterranean regions of the world. Choose to spend the day at the Eden Projector take an afternoon visit to the harbour village of Charlestown which featured in the “Onedin Line”.
Trebah Gardens & Falmouth: Today our first visit is to Trebah Gardens, described as a sub tropical paradise with a stunning coastal backdrop where you can explore canopies bursting with exotic blooms and follow vibrant tunnels of colour that cascade down to their very own secluded beach on the Helford River. In the afternoon we visit Falmouth, where you will have some free time before returning to the hotel. An optional boat cruise may be available, depending on weather conditions.
LAST DAY Travel home: We depart for home, arriving during the evening.
