A lovely full day excursion taking-in the enchanting North Devon Coast, Exmoor and 'Doone Country' - the landscape that inspired the classic novel 'Lorna Doone'. We visit the unspoiled medieval village of Dunster, dominated by its romantic castle and once described as 'a perfect relic of feudal times'. Then it’s past Simonsbath and Minehead to the lovely twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth, set one above the other and linked by a cliff railway. Full Day
A full day excursion to Bideford and Bude. This morning we head to the historic port of Bideford, across the bridge that spans the River Torridge, to the busy quay. There is time to explore the narrow streets before following the traditional Atlantic Highway into Cornwall and the seaside resort of Bude with its magnificent golden beach.
