Description

Christmas away from home is a great experience. When everyone is bored in front of the TV you can be enjoying the glamorous towns and villages here.

Itinerary

Day 1 Departure
A morning departure to Dover for our ferry crossing to Calais. We then continue through France to our overnight hotel.

Day 2 Travel to Diano Marina
We continue into Italy to Diano Marina and our chosen hotel.

Days 3-6 At leisure
At leisure in Diano Marina with one included excursion and one optional excursion.

Included Excursion
Full Day Dolceacqua & Menton An excursion to show you the secrets of the Italian and French Riviera’s. Enjoy the spectacular Italian coast line and a visit to the old stone village of Dolceacqua, a maze of quaint narrow streets and passageways. We continue to delightful Menton, enjoy the old town or the more modern promenade.

Optional Excursion
Full Day Monaco & Monte Carlo An optional excursion to The Principality of Monaco. We visit the Rock of Monaco, the capital of this tiny Principality and Monte Carlo, with a chance to visit the most famous casino in the world.

Day 7 Travel to overnight hotel
We travel into France to our final overnight hotel.

Last Day Travel home
We depart for Calais for our ferry crossing to Dover, arriving home during the evening.

Venue Information

Hotel Nettuno, Diano Marina
We stay for 5 nights and facilities here include lounge bar and restaurant, the hotel prides itself on its good food, both local and international. All bedrooms are en suite and have hairdryer, TV, telephone, tea & coffee making facilities. Some rooms are situated in an annexe just a few yards from the main hotel.
