Itinerary

Day 1 Departure
A morning departure to Dover for our ferry crossing to Calais. We continue through France to our overnight hotel.

Day 2 Travel to St Georgen im Attergau
We continue to St Georgen im Attergau and our chosen hotel.

Days 3 Christmas Eve

Optional Excursion
Full Day Salzburg An optional excursion to Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart and the setting for The Sound of Music. Here you have the opportunity to visit the local Christmas Market. This evening is a traditional Austrian Christmas Celebration.

Day 4 - Christmas Day

Included Excursion
Half Day Hallstatt with optional Lake Halstattersee boat cruise Visiting Hallstatt on the banks of the Halstattersee, with an optional boat cruise on lake Halstattersee. We then return to our hotel for a relaxing Christmas Day afternoon.

Day 5 Boxing Day

Included Excursion
Full Day Salzkammergut An excursion around Salzkammergut, the Austrian Lake District to the villages of Mondsee, St Gilgen and St Wolfgang.

Day 6 At leisure

Day 7 Travel to overnight hotel
We travel into France to our overnight hotel.

Last Day Travel home
We depart for Calais for our ferry crossing to Dover, arriving home during the evening.
