Description

Join us on this new Christmas Market Tour where we visit some excellent locations and experience their delightful Christmas Markets.

Itinerary

Day 1 Departure
A morning departure to Dover and our ferry crossing to Calais. We continue through France, into Germany to Strasbourg, to our hotel for 2 nights.

Day 2 At leisure

Included Excursion
Full Day Strasbourg Christmas Market You have the day to explore France’s “biggest” Christmas Market set around the Notre-Dame Cathedral.

Day 3 Travel to Feldkirch
We leave the Black Forest and into Switzerland via the Rhine Falls, continuing into Austria to Feldkirch and our hotel for 2 nights.

Day 4 At leisure

Included Excursion
Full Day St Gallen Christmas Market We visit St Gallen’s Christmas Market in the Old Town of the capital of the Swiss canton St Gallen, situated between Lake Constance and the mountains of the Appenzell Alps.

Day 5 Travel to Munich via Innsbruck Christmas Market
Travelling through the Austrian Tyrol we stop in Innsbruck and visit its Christmas Market. We then continue onto Munich for our 2 night stay.

Day 6 At leisure in Munich Christmas Market
Today you are free to enjoy the Munich Christmas Market.

Day 7 Travel to Cologne & Christmas Market
We continue to Cologne to our hotel and this evening visit one of Cologne’s Christmas Markets. Cologne has Markets sited at Cologne Cathedral, on the Alter Markt in front of the city hall, the Medieval Christmas Market is outside the Chocolate Museum, and the oldest Christmas market is on the Neumarkt, against the backdrop of the Church St. Aposteln.

Last Day Travel home
We depart for Calais and our ferry crossing to Dover, arriving home during the evening.
