Itinerary
Day 1 Departure
A morning departure, stopping for lunch and refreshments en-route to our resort hotel. Selected drinks are free at the hotel bar for one hour every evening: Boddingtons, Becks, Carling, Worthington Creamflow, Worthington Classic, Red & White wine. Also pump Cola, Diet Cola & Lemonade. (Please Note: the choice of drinks and the time of the offer are subject to change).
Days 2-4 (5 day holidays) At leisure
At leisure in Tenby with two included excursions.
Days 2-6 (7 day holidays) At leisure
At leisure in Tenby with three included excursions. Tenby is a town steeped in ancient history, surrounded by an imposing stone wall, built in the 13th. Century. Discover the history of the town, from the arrival of the Normans in the late 11th. Century through to Tenby’s establishment as a tourist haven in the Victorian period. Tenby is a delightful little harbour town and seaside resort, with fantastic beaches stretching to the north, the west and the south of the town. Walk the narrow cobbled streets of Tenby and wander along the harbour. This is a serene and attractive destination sure to charm you.
Included Excursion
Full Day Haverfordwest, Solva, St David’s A full day included excursion takes us via Haverfordwest and the coast road known as ‘Seventeen Hills in Sixteen Miles’, passing the quaint village of Solva. We continue to St David’s, Britain’s smallest cathedral city. Although little more than a sleepy village, it is well worth a visit before continuing to Llys-Y-Fran Reservoir.
Included Excursion
Full Day Penally, Lydstep, Manorbier Castle A full day included circular drive along the coast takes us via Penally and Lydstep to Manorbier Castle. Take in the views of the castle and cove before we visit St Govan’s Head. We continue to Pembroke Castle, idyllically set on the banks of the river estuary. This mighty fortress is largely intact, and its endless passages, tunnels and stairways are great to explore, plus there are fantastic exhibitions, which tell the tale of its medieval life. (Please Note: Entrance fees are not included).
Included Excursion
Full Day (7 day holidays only) Gower Peninsula A full day included excursion to the Gower Peninsula, often called the prettiest part of South Wales. Stops will be made at the village of Rhossili at the very end of the Peninsula and in Mumbles, with magnificent views over the Bristol Channel.
Last Day Travel home
We depart for home, arriving during the evening.

Clarence House Hotel, Tenby
We stay at the Clarence House Hotel which is superbly located on the South Shore Seafront, close to the town centre. Facilities include a restaurant, bar, garden and lift to all floors. All bedrooms are en-suite with colour TV and tea & coffee making facilities.
