Itinerary
Day 1 Departure
A morning departure, stopping for lunch en-route to our hotel.
Days 2-4 At leisure
At leisure in Llanberis. From here we take in the atmosphere of the Great Little Trains with two included excursions. On your free day, why not take a ride up the Snowdon Mountain Railway? Beginning at Llanberis Station, at the foot of the highest mountain in England and Wales this is the ‘pièce de résistance’ of Welsh train journeys, with ample time to see the wonders of Snowdonia.
Included Excursion
Full Day Festiniog Railway An excursion, with the main attraction being the Ffestiniog Railway from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog (fare included). The unique steam-hauled trains run along 13 miles from the coast to the mountains. Also included is a scenic drive through the Snowdonia National Park where you will be offered an optional train journey on the Welsh Highland Railway which runs from Caernarfon to Hafod y Llyn.
Included Excursion
Full Day Barmouth Bay A coastal drive around Barmouth Bay to reach the Tal-y-Llyn Railway for a superb trip through spectacular scenery (fare included). All trains are steam hauled along the narrow-gauge line.
Last Day Travel home
We depart for home, arriving during the evening.

We stay for 4 nights at the Royal Victoria hotel with breathtaking views of the hills and mountains around Mount Snowdon. Facilities include bar, restaurant and lift. All bedrooms are en-suite and have satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities.
