Itinerary
Day 1 Departure
A morning departure, crossing the River Severn Estuary into Wales to the vibrant city of Swansea. The city boasts an award-winning Marina and Maritime Quarter, which is home to the National Waterfront Museum.
Day 2 At leisure
Included Excursion
Full Day Gower Peninsula A full day included excursion around the Gower Peninsula, with a visit to the quaint village of Mumbles. The Gower Peninsula is Britain’s first designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. Spectacular views include the famous Worm’s Head and Three Cliffs Bay, voted by television viewers as the “Second Best View” in Britain. Mumbles is a Victorian seaside resort full of character and deserving of its name ‘Gateway to the Gower’. Its small shops are excellent for souvenir browsing as are its craft shops. In the evening, there will be a “Welsh themed dinner”.
Last Day Travel home
We depart for home, arriving during the evening.
