Day 1 Departure visiting Oxford & Burford
A morning departure, stopping for lunch and sightseeing in Oxford. We continue to the pretty Cotswolds village of Burford, en-route to our resort hotel.
Days 2-4 At leisure
At leisure in Gloucester with two included excursions.
Included Excursion
Full Day Symonds Yat, Ross-on-Wye, Tintern Abbey An excursion to the beauty spot of Symonds Yat, in the heart of the Wye Valley. We visit Ross-on-Wye and continue along the Wye Valley to the picturesque ruins of Tintern Abbey. Our journey takes us through the Forest of Dean.
Included Excursion
Full Day Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold An excursion into the Northern Cotswolds, to the village of Bourton-on-the-Water, voted one of England’s prettiest villages. We continue to Stow-on-the-Wold, a small but well-known market town, and then visit Broadway, often referred to as the ‘Jewel of the Cotswolds’.
Last Day Travel home
We depart for home, arriving during the evening.
