Itinerary
Full Day Excursion: After breakfast we head inland to Newport, the principle town of the Isle Of Wight. A lively town steeped in beauty and history, there is so much to provide you with a lovely day out. The town boast two elegant squares with street and independent stores. Today sees the regular market gracing much of the town centre. If you are interested in history and heritage there is plenty on offer with impressive Carisbrooke Castle, Newport Roman Villa and some fabulous museums within a short distance of each other.
Free Day in Resort: Free time to enjoy the facilities that the Trouville Hotel has to offer. Step out side the hotel and stroll along the miles of golden sands, peruse the many shops and cafes gracing the esplanade or enjoy the fine selection of amusements on the pleasure pier.
Full Day Excursion: Today we head out for a breathtaking coastal drive enjoying miles and miles of beautiful sea views from the east to the west coast. Our first stop is Shanklin, a pretty seaside resort popular for its busy high street, golden sands, its old town with beautiful array of thatched buildings and famous chine, a dramatic fissure in the rocks where a 45ft waterfall cascades. From here we continue to Ventnor, a Victorian seaside town nestled below the enchanting St Boniface Down, the highest point on the Isle Of Wright.
