Spend Christmas in one of the most stunning regions of Switzerland. Enjoy local traditions and festivities to make this a Christmas to remember. This is a very popular tour so we would advise you to book early to avoid disappointment.

Itinerary

DAYS 1-2 Departure and travel to Seelisberg:
A morning departure to Dover for our ferry crossing to Calais, then onto our overnight hotel. On day 2 we continue into Switzerland to Seelisberg and our hotel. With beautiful countryside, lakes and mountains, this really is the ideal place to spend your Christmas.

DAYS 3-6 At leisure:
Enjoy a typical Swiss Christmas with two included excursions and two optional excursions. Festivities will include a festive 5-course meal on Christmas Eve, a traditional Christmas Day lunch, a 3-course Boxing Day lunch and entertainment at the hotel.

Engelberg with optional* sleigh ride:
Let us take you to Engelberg where the scenery amongst the mountains and the village's huge Benedictine Kloster (monastery), makes this a worth while visit. Here you can take an optional Sleigh ride.

Scenic mountain tour:
Join our included scenic mountain excursion. After lunch there is an afternoon candlelit walk.

Optional* excursion - Christmas Market:
An optional morning excursion to a local Christmas market.

Optional* excursion - Funicular railway & cruise:
An optional funicular railway ride from Seelisberg to Treib where you join the boat for a cruise on Lake Lucerne to Beckenried, returning the same way.

LAST DAY Travel to overnight hotel & home:
We depart our hotel and travel into France to our final overnight hotel. On day 8 we depart for Calais for our ferry crossing to Dover, arriving home during the evening.

We stay for 5 nights at the Hotel Bellevue in Seelisberg, enjoy magnificent panoramic views from the hotel’s hilltop location, facilities here include restaurant, bar, gym & sauna. All 60 bedrooms are en suite and have TV & hairdryer. Porterage and welcome drink included.
