Legend comes to life with a firework and light show spectacular set against the stunning backdrop of Leeds Castle, near Maidstone in Kent. Leeds Castle is one of the most romantic castles in the world and haunt of King Henry VIII.

Itinerary

DAY 1 Departure: A morning departure visiting Canterbury with time at leisure to explore before we continue to our chosen hotel in Maidstone.

DAY 2 Travel to Leeds Castle: This morning we travel to the charming and historic market town of Faversham with time at leisure before we depart mid afternoon for Leeds Castle and the highlight of your weekend, the Fireworks and Light Show. The Firework Spectacular takes place on the Cedar Lawn of Leeds Castle. Enjoy displays of jousting, sword fighting, juggling and fire eating before the evening event.We return to the hotel for your evening meal.

LAST DAY Travel home: We depart for home firstly visiting the historic spa town Tunbridge Wells which in Georgian times was regarded as the place to see and be seen. Enjoy time at leisure to explore before we depart for home in the afternoon, arriving during the evening.

This modern 4* hotel, located a short distance from Leeds Castle is set in 20 acres of grounds. It offers 126 en suite bedrooms featuring TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Guests can enjoy use of the hotels leisure facilities which include an indoor swimming pool, sauna and solarium. There is a lift to all floors and porterage is provided. Guests can also enjoy entertainment in the bar in the evening.
