Travelling eastward to the Georgian port of Poole, now a leading yacht harbour. Then on to Dorset's largest resort, Bournemouth.

Full Day Excursion to Dorchester, Bridport and Abbotsbury
Dorchester is the lively County Town of Dorset - "Casterbridge" in Thomas Hardy's novels. We also visit the ancient town of Bridport and the village of Abbotsbury with its famous Swannery on The Fleet, the lagoon behind the amazing Chesil BeachRUSSELL HOTEL
Ideally situated on the sea front with commanding views of Weymouth Bay from many of the 90 bedrooms, all of which are “no smoking”. Most are small but comfortable and all have private bath or shower and WC, television, central heating and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a restaurant and bar lounge with dance floor and cabaret entertainment 7 nights a week, together with bingo and quizzes.
